TE MAHIA KURAS X-COUNTRY DAY.

On the 20th of august on Thursday Te mania kura went to
X-country and the X-country day was at miss grovers paddock. The very first thing we done was we done some exercises then we got in to our age division the first age group the went for there run was the 5 and 6 year olds then the 11 and 12 year olds went then the 5 and 6 year olds went after the 11 and 12s then the 7 and 8 year olds went. Before we started the race the teachers and the adults that came walked us around the track that we were gonna run so we know where to go. Straight after that when we got to the end we started our race and I was felling confident for this race. We did it to keep us healthy and strong and we also did it for fitness. On my last run around the course I couldn't slow myself down and I hurt myself by slipping down the hill. Lucas came 1st place from the 5 and 6 year olds and Waitama came 2nd place in the 5 and 6 year olds and Rahkai my brother came 3rd place. From the 11 and 12 year olds Tuki came 1st place and then Sharon came 2nd place and the last person 11 and 12 year olds was Anthony and Anthony came 3rd place. From the 9 and 10 year olds Tia who just left to fiji came 1st place and then rebecca came 2nd place and then the last one was jahnei jahnei came 3rd place. For the 7 and 8 year olds Ryan came 1st and jhalnea came 2nd then keylia came 3rd place for the 7 and 8 year olds . It was a very long day and the course that the 5 and 6 year olds ran was they had to run around  the gally twice. The 11 and 12 year old ran around the paddock 3 times and then they ran around the gally 4 times. The 9 and 10 year olds ran around the paddock 2 times and then we ran around the gally 3 times. For the 7 and 8 year olds they had to run around the paddock once. It was a really big day and we had to run a big track it was really fun though I liked it at the X-COUNTRY.
